Pocket Letter - 9 Facts About Me

Update 9/24/15: As I received some concern for the price of international shipping and how much decorating to do on these PLS I wanted to make this update and clear things up. To keep low cost of shipping anywhere your pocket letter should by less than 1/4 inch thick in the envelope and weigh as little as possible. Per the US Postal Service if its more than 1/4 inch thick than it is considered a package, which is more expensive and than obviously the more it weighs the more it costs as well. But with that being said you do not have to be excessive with decorating (you can if you are okay with paying more) Gifts are not required for this exact reason. Keep the bulk down = less costly to ship. For example, I might cut out a map of the area where I live to use as a background and make little notes on it. Like I live here and circle it, and circle the place I go eat , or go swimming. Maybe add a sticker or two, but that's it for one card. Thin and light.

I think this a unique swap to get to know others around the world. I may do more swaps like this depending on the feedback, which is always appreciated. So for this pocket letter swap you will be creating and telling 9 facts about yourself. Here's the details:

{If you are still concerned / hesitant to do international shipping I am also hosting a USA only version. It is exactly the same and you can find it in my profile under swaps I am hosting. If you are from the US feel free to sign up for both, but don't take on too much as if you are in both swaps you will have to create a total of 4 PLs.}

• Each pocket must be individually designed around a fact about you. {Some examples are: your favorite color, favorite hobby, favorite animal or pet, did you recently get married or have a baby, what state/country do you live in, do you live by anything interesting, your favorite drink, when is your birthday, favorite holiday, favorite season, favorite food, etc.}

• Only the front of each pocket must be decorated (less bulk = less shipping) and on the back you will write the fact about you that corresponds with the card front. For example: you would write "My favorite color is ___________." on the back of the card you decorated with your favorite color. All 9 pockets have to have a different fact.

• You must include at least a note with the swap name & your username. You do not have to write a letter as the pockets are like your letter. However feel free to write a letter if you like.

• No goodies are required for this swap to keep shipping cost down, but it's always thoughtful ;)

• You will get TWO partners and this is an international swap as these PLs should relatively light and not costly. (Tip: you can make two of the exact same pocket letters about you to send as they will be going to two different places; so don't feel stressed about creating 18 different facts about you)

I will be checking profiles. Newbies are welcome with a filled out profile as this is a simple swap. However, no recent or unexplained 1s or 3s. Please let your partner know before rating 1 or 3 as a courtesy since international shipping takes longer. All profiles must be filled out and I reserve the right to ban anyone from the swap that I do not feel is a good match.
