Description:

So almost everyone seems to be going crazy over Pocket Letters, created by Janette Lane.

For this swap, you will create a Sailor Moon themed Pocket Letter! You can do anything or chracter/s you like as long as it is Sailor Moon (the show/manga/ etc) themed.

What is a pocket letter?

A Pocket letter is created using a 9 pocket card protector sheet that you can find at newsagents and hobby stores. The pockets are decorated (inside/outside) and goodies are included inside some of the pockets, along with a note or letter.

Need help on how to make a pocket letter? Check out these guides made by the creator of Pocket Letters, as well as some inspiration:

If you need more help, please contact me :)

Many people (like myself) decorate one side of the pocket letter to a theme (in this case, Sailor Moon), and share the goodies in the back of the pockets. Others, however, combine the two. This is up to you, but please don't throw some ephemera in each pocket and call it done.

Specifics

This is senders choice, but please check profiles for inspiration

Because I've seen some people complain about what should be included, I'm going to list in detail what is expected in this swap.

  1. All 9 pockets must be decorated in some way. Just putting a single sheet of pattern paper and calling it done is not enough. You can use washi tape, drawings, pattern paper, printed images from the computer, etc. Just make something that you would be happy to receive!

  2. You must include a short note or a letter. Does not have to be long or detailed. At the very least, be sure to include your name, and something about Sailor Moon (perhaps a few facts like who is your favorite character, etc.)

  3. Include a Mail Tag in one of the pockets with a few Sailor Moon related questions. (Fav. character, villain, etc). Questions are up to you. When you receive your letter from your partner, please be kind and answer their questions via a swap-bot message, or if you feel like you 'click' you can send a pocket letter in reply - maybe you've just made a new pen-pal!

  4. At least one pocket should include or be decorated with a favorite line or quote from Sailor Moon.

  5. At least 3 pockets should include a little surprise. They do not need to be Sailor Moon themed, though it would be nice if they are. Examples of surprises: Tea, Ephemera, cute paper clips, page flags, sticky notes, mini memo sheets, stickers, washi tape samples, an ATC, etc.

All rated members welcome to join, though I may ban at my discretion. I will Angel if needed

This is international, there is a USA version available as well.
