I love kitchy souveniers...you just can't have enough!

A lot of times you never see what tourists see when they come to your own hometown, I'm gonna use this swap as an excuse to go to the souvenier shops at home :)

I just got back from the beach boy O boy was it fun going into all the tacky tourist traps. My freinds and I made a game of it to see what all we could find that was fun!

I had to drop out of this swap, which is kinda disappointing because I already bought my stuff. Unfortunately there are people in the swap with multiple no-sends which takes the fun out of swapping.

I agree, Elaine, it's annoying when you see people with 5 or 6 ratings saying they never sent anything, there happens to be two people signed up for this swap who are in the category. I'm going to stay in because pinkpurpleorange swaps are pretty much guaranteed. But you two who are ruining it for everyone should drop out!

My mother and sister are going with me to Knoxville this weekend so maybe I could find some cool stuff to send out. We'll see.

if i can get in the habit of remembering, i am going to kick out anyone who has below a 3 from participating in our swaps (purplepinkandorange) on the last day before it starts. I hope i remember.

Heading to London, UK, in a few days so I am going to bring back some fun stuff specifically for this swap. And I get to send photos of my trip, too! I will keep that in mind while I am there and try to get something more interesting that the usual :)

I agree with joanne and elaine however i havent received anything from 2 swap members who have ratings of 5. Both of my partners for a thrift store swap have never sent anything even though they say they have. Its been 2 months already!!!. Cant always judge a book by its cover. Ive also emailed people who have given me a poor rating in the past and been ignored. But i plunder on.

Would it be OK to send 5 nice postcards instead of the photographs as I can't do outside photographs at all because of a visual impairment? I would love to do the whole tacky tartan thing as it just the right time to get a wicked selection of tourist bits and bobs here in Scotland!? :0)

I will send my photos separately since I have to upload and sort through them for the 5 best. I had such fun picking out the souvenir part of the swap that I want those in the mail now :-) The photos will be an extra little bit of fun.

And London is amazing. This was my second trip there, and even though I had only 4 days, it was the best 4 day holiday ever. Love the markets!

I sent mine out at the first of the week. How can you tell if someone has not been sending their stuff???

imthenana.... there are photos coming this weekend :) I had to get some made up from the trip. Glad the package arrived and you enjoyed it. Hope the chocolate bog frogs didn't melt.
