Ok lovelies! For this swap, you'll each create a slam book / journal, which will then be passed on to fellow Glytter Kyttens for them to add to. Hopefully after a good few months of swapping you should have a book brimming with all sorts of stories, comments, pictures, drawings, etc etc! This is the very first swap, and I've given a good few months for you to make a start on your journal! You'll need to buy or make a notebook, and then assign pages for anything you fancy - here's some ideas! 'about me' page photos of yourself / your home / crafts / pets / etc. diary entries questions, eg. 'where I live...', 'my dream is...', 'my favourite things are...', etc etc, so you and your fellow Kyttens can compare answers! collages doodles articles postcards stories pockets for stickers, notelets, other craft supplies If you want to make your book something specific - eg. slam book, penpal book, rant journal, diary-style, topic-specific (travelling, music, books, etc.) then please make this nice and clear on or in your journal so people know! You've got a good couple of months to get your book all nice and prepared, and to fill out at least a couple of pages before you send it on! When you receive someone else's book, add as much or as little as you like and keep it somewhere safe until the next swap, which will be Journals #2! Please only join if you feel this is something you'd like to do for at least four swaps, so people get lots of Kyttens contributing to their books. Any questions, please message me! <3

I love this idea, but I have 1 question. What happens if we keep getting assigned the same partner?

Aha! I have also wondered about this! If you keep getting the same partner, it should technically still be ok, because the book you'll be passing onto them will be someone else's (whoever you've received). In the case of /receiving/ the same person's book, I'll adjust two pairs of partners so that they get a book they haven't received yet.

...I hope/think that makes sense! ^^

Hopefully for a good six swaps, so that's six Kyttens writing in your book and filling up the pages!

I'll put this in future swaps, but just to clarify, if it's say the fifth swap and you see that the book you receive is going to be complete after you've written in it, don't join the following swap - instead, contact the owner of the book, and then mail it back to them!

I'm also aware that due to how this swap works, the books we'll end up rating won't necessarily be our own, but use your good judgement! If the pages are lush and pretty, rate high!

Many parts of this swap require quite a bit of trust, communication, and nice work, which is why I'm more than happy to do it as a Glytter Kytten swap, because everyone in the group seems lovely so it should work well!
