Description:

Welcome to March Mail Art guys! Thank you for your ongoing support with this swap. I love it & I'm sure you do, too!

From 19/02 I have changed this swap to hopefully open to a wider audience. For these monthly mail art swaps, you are now allowed to send either a a postcard (naked or in an envelope) or a mail art envelope. Please if you are sending an postcard make sure it is not flimsy, e.g, on card stock, and not mini size, and NO sticker slapping. To make it fair for those who are sending MA envelopes - if you are sending a PC please put extra effort into it.

You are more than welcome to join this swap if you have never participated before, or if you have never done mail art before.

For this swap you will have 5 partners & a month to send to all of them. The idea is that you send to each partner throughout the month, not all at once, or at the last minute. PLEASE don't join this swap if you can't do this. Send to all of your partners gradually through the month. Bare in mind international partners! I will not be sending reminders when to send to your partners, it is up to you. Therefore please be responsible and good with time management.

Below for you are some themes for each mail art. Please choose at least 3 themes to use given on each mail art. You don't have to use all of them but TRY!! ;) if you super creative then go for it! Think outside the box! I'd love to see everyone trying to use as many as they can :)

Combined themes do not count as 2. For example using an "orange stripe" for orange and stripe, doesn't count as 2 from the list. That could be either a stripe, or orange. No cheating. ;)

Please don't sticker slap, write a quote on a plain envelope/card stock & call it done, or send a pre-made decorated envie from the store. It's called mail art for a reason! Anything goes as long as it fits at least 3 themes somehow and you get creative.

Please sellotape the corners, edges, sides etc. Your envelopes may be going on a very long journey across the country, please make sure they are supported as much as possible. Any stray pieces or washi tape that may not stay intack, please just stick down with sellotape or use a fixer. Thanks!

Include at least a note inside your envelope or on the back of the PC for your partner explaining themes you used for which week. Surprises/extras are up to sender. Perhaps let us know what you have planned for March, how you are feeling, what are you doing this weekend? Etc.

For partner 1: Face, Corners, Birds, Green, Ribbon, Small text

Corners; e.g, in each corner of the envelope there is the same small detail, identical to each 4 corners. e.g, an apple sticker.

For partner 2: Irregular shape envelope, Repeated pattern, smile, red, astrology, Flowers

For partner 3: Washi tape background, Arrows ->, Large text, Humour, Orange, Animal

For partner 4: Everyday ephemera, Polka dot, Collage, Feather, Sealife, Lilac

Everyday ephemera: e.g, Perhaps stick a receipt on there from a recent dinner out, or a clothes tag?

For partner 5: Wet - Dry material, Colourful, Superhero, Artwork, Sticker, Quote

Wet - Dry material: e.g, paint, rubber stamp, emboss.

Enjoy!
