Description:

A fun Valentine's surprise!

Grab an envelope - any envelope you see fit - and fill it with as many goodies as you can without increasing the postage! (Flat items and about 30g/1oz, if I've done my research correctly)

You should include a card with a note for your partner to read. It can be greeting card, notecard, small valentines card (the type kids give away), postcard... Any kind of card with a Valentine's theme.

All items are senders choice, but please make them nice items you'd be happy to receive yourself, and it'd be great if you could check your partners' profiles to see what they would like. Note that they do NOT need to have a Valentine's theme.

Some ideas for items to include:

  • Individually packaged beverage packages (tea, coffee, hot chocolate, juice, etc
  • Stickers
  • Confetti or foam shapes (nothing too small/annoying to deal with, please, unless it comes in a sealed package)
  • Decorative tape
  • Nice paper or cardstock
  • Ribbons or decorative string (of a useable length)
  • Stamps
  • Bookmark
  • Etc....

Remember to keep it flat and light enough to be sent without extra postage!

You will have 5 partners from within the USA and/or Canada to help keep postage down, though I'll be running another international version if you're interested.

Any questions or concerns, just ask!

If anyone has any problems with this swap please contact your partners first. If you are unable to get a response within 1 month, contact me and we can discuss the possibility of angeling :)

Just so you know, postage to Canada from the US is considered international.

tweetyiscool29 01/29/2015 #

@drgngirl - I know, but I still consider it a postage savings because limiting to the 2 countries offers more participant variety while still being limited enough that US participants may not need to send many to Canada. It all depends on who signs up, of course, but that was my thinking behind it.

Are newbies welcome in this swap?

myshoesdontmatch 02/ 2/2015 #

did you know you can send 2 oz of flat mail to canada for $1.15? just learned that today, thought it was only one ounce! pretty cool.

tweetyiscool29 02/ 3/2015 #

@Krystalk - yes! you have been included :)

tweetyiscool29 02/ 3/2015 #

@myshoesdontmatch - that's interesting to know - thanks! When I looked into it the dimensions I found listed 1oz too (which is roughly equal to Canada's limit of 30g)

Partners are assigned! I have also updated the swap to include angel info.

Happy swapping!
