Full Moon ATC Swap #1: March 2015

For this swap, you will create an ATC (any media) depicting the folkloric/religious/cultural associations with the March 2015 full moon. (Depending on your location, this may be 5 or 6 March.) This is a sender's choice swap, so you can select any March full moon name and tradition: yours, your partner's, etc., but please include a note so that your partner knows which tradition/culture you are referencing.

Since this is international, I wanted to highlight that the northern and southern hemispheres are in opposing seasons, so, for example, someone in the northern hemisphere might get a harvest-related moon ATC from someone in the southern hemisphere.

There are a gabillion places you can read about full moon names/traditions, etc., but this is a nice place to start because it gives both northern and southern hemisphere information. http://earthsky.org/astronomy-essentials/full-moon-names?

I think it is always a lovely thing to check your partner's profile for what they enjoy, so am giving everyone three weeks between partner assignment and mailing date. Remember, art is subjective, so please rate a 5 if you received an ATC in a timely manner depicting a March full moon tradition and a note about which full moon it is. If your partner also incorporated something from your profile, please consider giving them a heart.
