Please read the entire swap description to prevent mistakes and low ratings.

January is a cold month, and this swap is to help each other get through the deep of Winter with a spoil package. December is an expensive month so I'm putting this up early. That way you can take into account the costs of this swap. Since this is a foodie group I'm keeping the swap items food or cooking based.

For this swap we send each other:

  • 3 sachets of tea/coffee/hot coco

  • 3 sachets of spices or herbs for cookies/cakes/pies along with 3 recipes for cookies/cakes/pies. The spices must correspond with the recipes. Keep in mind that the ingredients should be as basic as possible unless you send them along. For example if your recipe requires Philadelphia Cookie Dough there's a good chance it's not availabe to your partner (this is an international swap), so unless you intend to sending it along pick recipes that go from scratch. They usually require ingredients available to everyone, such as eggs, butter, etc.

  • 5 sweets/candy bars. Must be wrapped by the manufacturer and unopened. You can vary them or send 5 of the same.

  • 1 pack of cookies, your favorite. Please note it must be well packaged because nothing may go bad in the mail.

  • 1 good book (in English, unless your partner is from the same non-English speaking country)

  • 1 surprise. Must be food or food-related! If it's a candy bar make sure it's approximately 15 cm or 5.9 inch in size (or more). No single sweets!

Important

Everything we send must arrive in a good state. Make sure to wrap everything accordingly. Nothing can go bad in the mail. These are gift parcels and should be treated accordingly, meaning the items must be selected and treated with care. If you're not sure if you can afford this swap, do not participate.

Please keep in mind that this is not a wishlist swap. You may receive items you don't like. Keep it for a next swap or give it away.

Other than that, happy swapping :)
