Description:

Let's keep this series going :)

This time theme in an envie is... Mail/Correspondence

How to do this theme; Air Mail motifs/ephemera, snail mail motifs and ephemera, snail mail supplies and penpal stationery, pen and paper, ink and paper, post office themes, used postage stamps, swapbot themes, letter/post boxes, vintage postcards with written words on the back, vintage letters with real correspondence, Keri Smith project postcards, etc.,

12 pieces

Ideas to include; notecards, memos, atcs, cut outs, smash items, postcards, stickers, embellishments, used stamps, book marks, die cuts, craft paper, washi tape, tickets, cards, handmade items, stationery, mail art supplies, book pages, envelopes, ribbon, stamps, beads, mixed media items, rub-ons, paper ephemera, vintage items, photographs, candy, gifts, the list is endless...

You are welcome to include anything handmade, e.g, a mail/postage stamp ATC however a maximum of 2 handmade items, and these must be profile based (check partners profile to see if they collect ATC's/handmade postcards/etc before sending.)

Sticking to theme send your partner an envelope full of items of your choice. Please try and choose a variety of things, not all the same. The minimum is 12 pieces. No more than 2 pieces can be handmade. Please send only attractive things, papers/ephemera/craft items must be nice, not rubbish. Items you send could be used for mail art, paper projects, smash journalling/junking, ATC's, collections, etc so must be nice. You are also welcome to get creative and come up with cool ideas to send any other items that are not paper related/store bought (e.g, pens, socks, candy, tea) if it fits theme.

One piece counts as ONE, so you can't send for example 12 stickers and call it done, that's wrong.

Please, a general rule of thumb for small things (like loose stickers, used stamps, paperclips, tiny beads, cut outs) 5 count as 1. For example, 5 magazine cut outs together is ONE item. Things like embellishments, ephemera pieces, notecards, & postcards, count as ONE individually as they are of higher quality. Just anything very small/tiny or thin think a group of it/5 is ONE item.

I know you all send great swaps and trust you to use common sense & the above is just a general guideline. I'm sure you wouldn't be pleased if you got an envelope of 12 very tiny small scraps of paper.

Although should be cheap and flat to post, as it is not a huge swap, please don't send the minimum possible; try & make your partner happy, and send a nice, decent sized swap for the requirements. Please try and FILL your envie. A package is not required; the type 3 is there for handmade items.

Any questions, or ideas of things that can be sent that I may have missed out, just comment below :) feel free to leave any suggestions for future themes below also.

Happy swapping!
