Asked permission and borrowed this swap from here

This swap is done in 4 parts. This is part 1.

  • Fill 6 small sized envelopes with a flat item(s) in it and number them 1 to 6. (Feel free to make the envelopes festive, but not a requirement.) Tons of envelope templates on-line if you don't have any small ones to use. Templates

  • The items can be holiday themed or not, please non-religious unless your partner is ok with it.

  • Include you name and swap-bot ID.
  • Put the 6 envelopes into one larger envelope and mail to your partner by the due date.

  • Ideas:

    • stickers, ATCs or blanks/sleeves, ephemera, profile based, die cuts, deco paper, washi tape samples, embellishments, ribbon, trim, a little gift, charms/buttons/brads, misc craft supplies, etc etc.
    • Small items such as brads or small stickers - 4 count as 1 item.
    • Little gifts or goodies.
    • Senders choice, but please check profiles for dislikes or allergies.

I have been asked about price. I'd say max $1-$2 per envie, as we don't want this to get too expensive. Some items are hard to price, for example cut deco paper or lengths of ribbon.

Receivers can then open their envelopes starting Dec 1st and have a nice little surprise each day until the 24th.

If you receive 6 numbered envies, that's a 5. Hearts can be up to you before or after you open them.

This is my first time hosting, please feel free to ask any questions below. I will angel, but I know I wont have to. Watch for part 2, 3 & 4 to complete your advent calendar.

How should we rates these as we can't open them until Dec. I know in a similar swap people got a five and then after they opened you can go back and give hearts. I'm likely gonna give you a heart for just having a pretty package.

That sounds fine Mareree. I would say if you received 6 numbered envies, that's a 5. Hearts can be up to you before or after you open. :D

Because it is Thanksgiving weekend, I changed the send by date to the 17th to give a few extra days.

My envelopes are not as 'small' as I tried to aim for but I've certainly stayed well within the price limit.

Yes, we don't want these to get too pricey! It should be fun to open these. I made a discussion thread here.
