WIYM - MA & bits: childrens book

This is for those who love childrens books and characters.

This swap has 2 partners. You'll be making an envelope for your partner that is children's book theme. The envelope itself can be made from a page from a children's book or it can be a plain envelope decorated with ephemera, collage, stickers, children's book motifs, etc. if you are just decorating an envelope please make sure it is completely covered. If you are making an envelope from a book page, please add some more detail on it like quotes, collage, illustration, stamps, stickers, etc.

Concerning what age books you can use; Anything from baby books to young adult. PLEASE don't cover your mail art in pictures of real-life babies...

NO sticker slapping or shoddy efforts, please put time into this and make some pretty mail art. Please no images printed from a computer, no photocopies. Please stick only to the children's book theme. Please see my partners profile before using disney as not everyone likes it...

You don't have to be using "famous" childrens books or characters. Any books is fine. However you might be familiar with; Dr Seuss, Beatrix Potter, Charlotte's web, The Very Hungry Caterpillar, Robert Scarry, The Secret Garden, Ladybird/Puffin books, The Famous Five, Where the wild things are, Roald Dahl... The list goes on.

Inside your envelope include 5 flat pieces of childrens book ephemera for your partner, e.g a book page, jigsaw pieces, flash cards/spelling cards/playing cards, cuts out, die cuts from pages, postcard, bookmark, etc. Only 1 can be handmade. Book pages are fine if you don't have anything else; perhaps cut interesting shapes/characters/words out from different pages for a variety.
