Description:

I love Wikipedia! I love learning useless and possibly apocryphal facts and getting into bizarre labyrinths of information by clicking one and then another and then yet another random link from each page that I end up reading, in an endless cycle of fun informational semi-connectedness.

I am sure that many of you other internet junkies out there also enjoy a good several-hour long browse on Wikipedia as well, and so to celebrate that, I have created this swap. Here's what you do:

Go research something on Wikipedia. Anything you like. Pick one random factoid that you particularly like, and make one HANDMADE postcard illustrating that factoid in some way. Then write a little note on the back to your partner explaining why you think this particular useless bit of knowledge is so darn cool. Any media are welcome, but please try to create a card that is well-made and clearly your own work.

The Fine Print:
This swap is INTERNATIONAL.
Cards must conform to standard USA postcard sizes, which means they must be between 3.5" by 5" and 4.25" by 6".
Your username and the title of this swap must be clearly indicated somewhere on the card.
Must have a 4.5 or higher rating, or else contact me and explain your circumstances.
Newbies welcome with completed profiles.

thank you for showing me that there are other unapologetic wiki-geeks in the world.

This sounds like such a cool swap - the last thing I learnt was that Maggie Thatcher was in office from 1979 to 1990 but thats really boring - it's politics hehe!!!

But I just noticed....I missed it :(

When is the next one @lookcloselypress ???
