Description:

So I just did my first swap, it was a still life swap and I really enjoyed it. So I'm doing more ATC swaps that MUST be done from life. This means you draw from life, as opposed to a picture or your imagination.

I thought it would be fun to do interiors (inside of a building/house) and thought I could make a small series out of it. The first of the series will be the kitchen! So pull up a chair and sit with a good view of your kitchen and draw! (or paint, whatever!) Try to capture it as it is, no need to clean it up! Who doesn't love to draw a bunch of dirty dishes? hehe

Rating of 4.8 and higher please. Newbies welcomed with well filled out profile. I will check people out! And if anyone flakes, I will not let them into another in this series.

Anyway. So I hope some people sign up, I think it will be fun. It's a great way to practice perspective drawings!

So here is what we'll do in the series: 1. Kitchen 2. living room 3. dining room (or just eating area/table you eat at if it's in your kitchen) 4.bathroom (yes! I love bathrooms!) 5. bedroom (yours or any bedroom in your house) 6. Any room! (some of us might have extra bathrooms or playrooms or perhaps a nice enclosed porch- that's what this one is for, any extra room I might have missed that you want to draw!)

Okay, so I hope you enjoy this swap!

Oh yes! And ATCs must be 2.5 by 3.5 inches. Drawing on the front, must be on a sturdy paper like cardstock, if you draw on regular sketchbook paper, please glue it onto something sturdier. On the back, it must say the name of the swap and which part of the series it is, your name, your username on swap bot, the date you made it, and the medium in which you did it. Thanks!

This is a wicked cool and unusual idea - watching for now due to a busy schedule.

Thanks! I'm glad you like the idea. Most ATCs I come across are more like crafts than art and I think it would be nice to do ATCs with actual drawings on them. If you do find time to join, please do!

Please always tell me about the swaps you're hosting! Right up my alley.
