NH Mail Art for Beginners: Bright & Happy! (Intl)

Easy, fun, and low-cost swap!

• Start with an envelope, pre-made or one you create yourself.

• Embellish with bright and happy colors of your choosing, in whatever medium you like (watercolor, markers, collage, rubber stamping, etc.).

• Do NOT just slap a couple of stickers on the envelope and call it done. Put some effort and time into your creation.

• You are required to decorate only the front of your envelope, but you can add art to the back if you wish.

• In the envelope, enclose a letter in which you tell your partner one positive thing about yourself, AND mention one thing from your partner's profile that you admire or relate to. The letter should be more than a couple of sentences about the two topics. Write a friendly, conversational letter.

• Mail ON TIME. Because this is a relatively easy swap, I am giving you just a week to create your envelope and write the letter.

Please rate your partner promptly and accurately, and communicate if there are problems.

Note that because your partner is required to read your profile and write about something on it, you MUST have a reasonably filled profile to be in the swap. There is a sticky thread in the Newbie Helpers group if you don't know what to include on your profile. You must at least have a list of some of your likes and interests AND your colour and style preferences (or a statement that you are open to any colour and style).
