. . . . . . . . . .

Instead of simply putting two bags of tea in an envie and mailing them off to your partner, why not deliver them in person? And if you've gone to the trouble of traveling all the way to her house, you might as well stay awhile. So kick off your shoes and make yourself at home. YOU are spending the day!

  • Choose two of your favorite bags or sachets of tea. If you drink loose-leaf tea, put enough in little baggies for two generous cups. Your servings can be two of the same, if that's your style, or a couple of different winners. It's up to you. After all, you're the guest!

  • Write or type a letter to your partner letting her know what she'll need to do to make you comfortable during your visit. For instance, what do you expect her to have waiting for you in the refrigerator? Will she be canceling her plans to take you anywhere? Do you have allergies or phobias she must consider? What are your habits, routines or scheduling preferences? Is there a television show that you simply can't miss? Demand she do whatever makes you happy and she'll be happy to see you go!

  • Even though it isn't that much fun, please do take a few moments to include your swap-bot username and the swap title in your package. Other than that, be creative and have great time.

Just to be clear, the tea and letter are traveling alone. You're actually staying home. I can't really put your partner through that! :-)
