These were sooooo much fun to make!! I felt like a kid again playing with dolls and dressing them up!!!

These are so cute, what type of markers are you all using? Some of mine have been bleeding into the wood.

barbieloufromKY 05/31/2014 #

@MiRdLHWY43 - I use Sharpies.....and I use craft sticks from Michael's....

I prefer to use paint on mine, but I've found that sealing the wood first with something like clear Gesso helps hold the ink in place if you're using marker. This time, I'm using a thin coat of paint and then adding marker on top.

I'm glad y'all are enjoying this!

Thanks for the tips. My sharpies were bleeding on sticks I bought at Michael's. Grasp and paint tonight for me!

Yes, thank you, I'll try paint today

I'm not too happy with how mine are turning out, I'm going to drop this time. Have fun!

@MiRdLHWY43 - I'm sorry you're having a hard time with these! I wish I could pop over to see if I could be of any assistance. :-) Hope to see you next time.

Mine bled some too....not much....certainly not enough to ruin them! I had fun and isn't that what swap-bot is all about?
