Description:

Like the first day of each month on the Jewish calendar, Shabbat is a woman's holiday shared with family and friends.

In this swap we will send a Shabbat related item and a nice, pampering gift to our Shabbos Queeen partners! ;)

Some ideas: Kiddush cup (wine cup), Challah Cover, Challah Plate, Shabbat Candles, Shabbat Candle Holders, Recipe Book, even something for Havdallah! If your partner enjoys handmade items, feel free to create something special and unique just for Shabbat!

One gift for the Queen! This could be a hand cream or a face mask, a good book or something from their wishlist! Please pamper the Shabbos Queen! <3 <3 <3

You will have one partner, must be a member of Jewish Swappers, and spend $10-$15. You must send at least two gifts, one Shabbat related, one for the Queen, but feel free to include more than two items if you wish. No no-sends whatsoever and please view your partner's profile for ideas. If you have certain needs, feel free to mention them in this forum (example: you need a challah cover), it is up to your partner to decide what to send.

Please also mention any dietary needs (kosher!) or any allergies.

Shabbat is a celebration, a time to rest, and to reflect.

Please feel free to send me questions or comments to help make this swap a wonderful experience!

I would really love candle holders or a Challah cover! I am kosher. Pampering, well anything really! :-D

I was also thinking to add anything with Woman of Virtue on it, I am thinking of making those into Hamsen

I know exactly what I am sending to my Queen, anything she requests goes on top of that ....

Do pampering items need to be kosher?

Not necessarily. I don't keep kosher but I'm a vegetarian. But, some things just don't need to be kosher, like a face mask or shower gel or jewelry. :) Let me know if that helps!

I would love anything that would help me understand the intent, meaning, rituals, and experience of shabbat. I will love and appreciate anything:)
