Matching Postcard & Stamp

I recently participated in a forum trade with another user, where we swapped Jimi Hendrix postcards with Jimi Hendrix stamps. It was fun to get that postcard.

So I'm making a swap. 1 partner, US only for this round.

Find yourself a postcard and a matching stamp. Things that work:

Jimi Hendrix stamp & Jimi Hendrix Postcard

a cosmos (flower) stamp and cosmos postcard

Hummingbird stamp & postcard

Chevelle postcard & stamp

Flag stamp & postcard

Year of the Horse Stamp & postcard

You get the idea. Whatever the stamp is, the postcard needs to match. Your postcard can have other things, but the item matching the stamp needs to be prominent. If it's a flag stamp, your postcard shouldn't have a small flag and a larger building on it. If there's a hummingbird, it shouldn't be tiny and in a field of flowers. Harry Potter shouldn't be used on a postcard of Hogwarts unless he's on the postcard (and takes up a reasonable space).

You do not have to use 1 stamp. For example, you could send a postcard of an apple with last year's 33 cent stamp on it, and make up the difference with a 1 cent stamp. That's fine, just try to limit the additional stamps. If you have 20 cent balloon stamps and a balloon postcard, consider using 2 instead of 1 balloon, and a mess of 2, 3 and 4 cent stamps.

You have 2 weeks after partners are assigned to find a stamp and postcard. I strongly advise you to find the matched set before the signup deadline. "Oh, I couldn't find anything" is a lousy excuse, and I will encourage your partner to rate you appropriately.

No excessive 3 ratings

Must not be known as a problem swapper/non rater

Must log in within 3 days of the swap signup

No newbies this round, maybe next time. No international folks either, again, maybe next time.
