Prompt Land 2014 #1 Brief

From your local newspaper, clip out a news brief – one of the short stories without a byline usually anywhere from two to six paragraphs long. For this Prompt Land swap, you’re going to use the first four words and the last four words of the news brief (don’t use the headline or the dateline) in a piece of writing that you create. In the example shown, the word list created would be four people were taken animals inside the home. The piece you create can be any format, any length, but it must include the eight words from the brief. Send a photocopy of the news brief and your original piece to two partners.
