Description:

This is a rolo series for the 4 X 6" Rolo Group that will go through the alphabet, one letter at a time! For January 2014 we'll do the LETTER F.

Make one sturdy rolo card for your one partner. The card must have the letter on it in a prominent way.

You can use artwork with something or things that begin with the letter of the card, or colors that begin with that letter, or words that begin with that letter. Reproductions of a dictionary definition of the word, a quote, or saying with the word add a lot to it and look nice… just some ideas...

Make the front of the card with the notches at the bottom and the back of the card with the notches at the top (unless your partner asks for something different). This works nicely for both a rotary holder and a flat holder.

Be sure to decorate the back, in a coordinated manner. Include the swap name and your user name on the back.

Be creative, have fun! HAPPY SWAPPING!

I'm new to rolos and I'm confused about one thing...you say that,

"Make the front of the card with the notches at the bottom and the back of the card with the notches at the top (unless your partner asks for something different). This works nicely for both a rotary holder and a flat holder."

Wouldn't the notches always be on the bottom of each card? The way I'm picturing it, I see notches cut both on the top and the bottom of each card, and I know that is not what you mean. Is it dependent on the type of holder that a person has? Can someone please explain this to me?

i will pm you @Susi & send you patterns too. but most like the back of the card decorated with the notches at the top so when it is hanging down at the bottom of a ferris wheel type round rolo holder then the design isnt upside down. AND if you have a flat tray holder when you look over the top of the card at the back it doesnt look upside down either ;-) Hope thats clearer than mud! lol

I'm still not visualizing it. I think what I need to see is a picture of a completed rolo in both types of holders to really see what you mean. I think I get it, but I'm not sure if what I am picturing is right, IYKWIM.
