Make a note card using this technique for the front.

Inside the card, include a note to your partner about one of the following:

  • What you did yesterday
  • Thrift stores
  • How your parent(s) chose your name(s)
  • Favourite leftovers
  • Something you repurposed

"Include a note" means either writing on the card itself or including a separate note that is either handwritten or typed - sender's choice.

Please mail it in an appropriately sized envelope (purchased or handmade).

Have fun!

In Denmark almost all of our adverts come in a written form( poor posties!) so I get oodles of junkmail PLUS I have a blue glue stick which I never understood the point of. I'm in😃

That is awesome. I can see some really cool artwork from this. And like @Giddyanni I have a blue glue stick I have never used because the blue bothers me. I have a purple one too.

I'm afraid I'm going to have to drop from this swap :o(

I've spent the best part of the afternoon trying to do the front bit and I just cannot do it; it's beyond my capabilities. I'm sure it won't be difficult for the rest of you, it's just me having two left hands.

So sorry, Anni, that I did not see your comment until now.

Personally, I cannot use an exacto knife to cut out anything because I cannot see that well, so I just trace or draw shapes and cut them out with scissors - or use a punch.

The point of this swap is to use the technique - it is not required to copy the design. It doesn't have to be a complicated pattern - even just a circle or a square would be fine. (";)

FYI: the purple and blue "glue sticks" that are used in a glue gun can be used a added embellishments on projects because the harden and stay stuck once they are dry...

The glue sticks that are used in a tube that you twist will dry clear. They are made with color so little children will get used to not putting too much glue on a project. : )
