You know.... those obnoxious family newsletters that you sometimes get around the end of the year that tell you how great people are doing (but it's really over the top- perfectly romantic thoughtful husband, the most over achieving children, loads of success at work, the pets are even pitching in around the house). Anyway.. this is meant to be funny/entertaining. You will have 3 partners. Pretend that they are you distant cousins and you want to catch them up on EVERYTHNG in your life. Make this letter a letter to brag and embellish and even lie about how amazing your perfect life is OR go completely opposite and make it over the top AWFUL how you are the most picked on unfortunate family ever! The point of this is to bring some humor and a smile to those who read it. Make it funny and entertaining. You will send it to 3 partners. It should probably be typed so that it can be at least a page long. Decorate the envie or letter itself with Christmas colors. You must have at least a 4.95 to join.

I wish I could join but I am so busy taking the twins to their modeling fashion shoots, and helping 15 year old my Son who has the PHd, discover a cure for cancer. Maybe after I donate a kidney to a stranger, I will have more time to tye dye some paper, and grow some organic ink for this swap.

This was a blast - I can't wait to see the three I get back. I had so much fun and love the results so much I'm thinking of sending it out as my "regular" Christmas communication.

Oh man, this is awesome. (JOINS) I'm a writer and I approve of this.

If anyone needs some inspiration, you just need to watch "What is this feeling" from the musical Wicked.

I wish I could join but I'm not sure I'll have time to design a new operating system to type the letter on. I'll have to hand typeset the entire thing on my vintage letterpress, but I'm missing half of the alphabet, so I'm just going to have to carve them all individually from organic fair trade sourced bamboo shoots in order to write this letter.
