Urban Threads Embroidery Swap

Recently I have been participating in several different embroidery swaps. While looking through all the fantastic needlework patterns and sites, I came upon an AWESOME site by the name of Urban Threads . They have some really unique designs. Some of their designs are free and others are available for download CHEAP!!

So for this swap, you will select a pattern of your choice, stitch it out and send it to your partner. This swap is completely senders choice! The pattern, fabric and thread used are up to you! You can do line stitching, fill in.... whatever! You can use several colors or do it all in one color! You can use any solid color of 100% cotton fabric to stitch your design; black, white, cream, even RED! This swap is about exploring the funkier side of embroidery, stitch outside of your comfort zone, make something different.... UNIQUE!! I only ask that you make sure your design is around 5-6 inches or larger.

Since this is senders choice, you don't need to wait for partners to be assigned! Get stitchin' folks!! Swap requirements: Sorry folks, no newbies on this one as it does take a bit of time (and patience). My definition of a "newbie" : you need to be rated for at least five type 3 swaps. That's fair. Next, things happen, so the rating requirement is 4.95..... no ones or threes in the last 12 months. This swap is international. A block of embroidery weighs practically nothing!
