And yes, you can use markers and stickers to decorate...doodle or whatever...this is just a real fun and no stress swap for those of us that like to color outside the lines sometimes. No artistical ability is required....only the ability to relax and have fun. : ) (Oh and slap stickers of course)

So... This may be a silly question, but do we use the decorated envelope to send the rest of the stuff, or does the decorated envelope go into another envelope so the person i send it to can use it another time? Sorry, I'm brand new here and trying to figure things out :)

Not a silly question at all. Mail-Art is the actual envelope that is sent through the mail. It will be the envelope that hold the flat surprise. So you will address/mail the envelope that you decorate with the stickers and markers. And yes that is why it must be mailable size.

I hope this answers the question...and please never be hesitant to ask a question for one of my swaps, 9 times out of 10 someone else is wondering the same thing. In this case @Eurwen was wondering. : - )

If no one has answered you yet, no you don't. You marking "Sent" is a good indicator to your partner and the swap host that you've done so.

I wish I'd seen this while sign ups were open. This is how I decorate my friends birthday cards. I love finding tiny stickers to slap in those teeny areas and trying to see how little white I can leave showing.
