I had a few people do this who expressed they would like to see it again. So here is Round 2 of the GoodReads Recommendations Swap.
** Please PLEASE pay close attention to the rules of this swap, even if you joined last time as I have made some changes in light of some issues that arrived with the 1st swap. **
If you are like me and you LOVE to read, you also love to hear about what others are reading and get recommendations for books. GoodReads is a good way to do that, if you aren't on there and love to read, it's the place to be! :)
For this swap ~
Everyone will leave their GoodReads profile page in the comments below. You MUST add your link to your GoodReads the DAY you sign up for the swap, so we aren't waiting for your links. If links aren't up by swap deadline, you will be banned. To make a link, use this markdown syntax [ user name ] ( url link ) minus the spaces . Example ~ [ Imzadi ] ( http://www.goodreads.com/Imzadi ) with ALL spaces removed is ~ Imzadi Once partners are assigned, come here and find your partners link. Go to their profile and click "add as a friend". Please try to do this within 5 days of the partners being assigned so everyone has time to make their recommendations before due date. After your request has been accepted, click "compare books" to see a comparison of your books with theirs. (You can do this prior to being "friends" but can not recommend until you are friends) After you see the comparisons, click "recommend a book" on the comparison page, or homepage. Recommend 5 books to your partner. You have checked their books, so don't recommend something they have marked as read, or to-read. If you received a partner that you had last time, do NOT recommend the same books to them. You can see what you have recommended by clicking "Book Recommendations", "recommendations by users" then "recommendations by you". Don't just recommend an author and title of a book, explain in detail, why you have recommended that book. Take the time to check your partners SB book preferences. If they say they don't like fantasy, please don't recommend a fantasy. Do NOT recommend multiple books from the same series, or even the same author. If you recommend the first of a series, we can assume the rest of the series is good as well. When you recommend the first one, feel free to explain more about the series, why you like it perhaps even the best book of the series, but do NOT make separate recommendations for books of the same series. As with the author, in one recommendation you can mention more works by the same author you love, but NOT separate recommendations. Please do NOT recommend books that are already on their to-read list. If there is one, or a few, books you really really loved already on their to-read list, recommend them all in ONE single recommendation. If you do this, all other 4 must be books that are NOT on their to-read, or read list. If you are having trouble thinking of books to recommend because your partners shelves are on the smaller side, please just recommend your favorite books. Don't make it hard on yourself. If they have anything they absolutely hate, just try to recommend other things. You never know when someone might decide to read outside their comfort zone. Let them know why they are your favorites and why they should try them. Come back, mark as completed after you have been accepted as a friend and sent 5 book recommendations to your partner. Come back to rate when you receive all FIVE of your partners recommendations.

Hopefully with this, you can find some good new books. Please join only if you have a Good Reads account and you don't mind being friends on GoodReads with at least 5 of your fellow Swap-Botters.
Rating requirements 4.8. No unexplained 1s or 3s. You must have tried to rectify any flaked swaps. I will angel if necessary, but this is an easy swap, so no flaking!! Newbies are welcome with VERY well filled out profile, especially an extensive book section.
I reserve the right to ban anyone I choose, and if you are on any of the Flaker lists, you will be banned. If you don't like my swap, the guidelines or think my rules are stupid, please don't join up. This is for fun, and my guidelines are made from the feedback I got from the last swap to make it an even better swap than before.
