Description:
Have a ghost, ghoul, wraith or spirit hanging around who'd like a change of scenery? Who wouldn't like new faces to scare, new places to haunt, new chairs to stack? Help your poltergeist out by crafting a doll, manikin, painting or drawing for them to temporarily inhabit on the way to their new haunting grounds. Swap should consist of a "haunted appropriate" craft - a small decorated object, doll, or other artwork that will carry your ghost to his or her new home through the magic of the postal service. Objects should be appropriately spookified, and come with a short paragraph detailing the name of the spook, date of demise, and favorite scaring techniques.

Can you explain this to me a little more please. I am a little dense.. lol. Do we craft something like a doll and crate something to send it in?

Hello Pandessa

yes you craft a small item for your ghost to inhabit or haunt, such as a doll, painting (I love those mini canvases lol), coffin, bucket, decorated cigar box etc your item should be small so that it is easy to mail (around 6 inches) and handmade.

You should also include a short paragraph with your spooks name, date of demise, favorite scaring techniques (such as he likes to make himself known by tickling your feet etc...

I love this theme and how many possibilities it holds. I'm not a true believer in ghosts and spirits and hauntings, but what a great idea for a swap! My mind is going in about a dozen directions on what to make though - got to reign it in! =)
