Introduce Your Setting

This swap is all about setting. Introduce your swap partner to a setting in which your piece takes place.

I won’t tell you what that setting should be, that’s up to you. Maybe it’s your character’s bedroom, a school, a house, a whole town. Maybe it’s a dragon’s lair or another planet. Whatever it is, give your partner a tour!

This swap must consist of at least one page of writing. This can be a description, a piece about a character exploring, whatever you like so long as it introduces the setting. Use all five senses in your piece.

Extras like a map, a sketch, advice on how to survive… those always make a swap super fun and are definitely encouraged, though in no way required.

So, to recap: at least one page of writing describing the setting and including information on all five senses.
