Hi!

I have never read Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. I keep telling myself that I will read it every year and never do. One of my personal goals for 2013 is to read it. I decided if I had a partner to write to about it then I would read it.

• read Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen

• write a letter to your partner and tell her what you thought. Did you like it? Did you hate it?

• Tell your partner anything else you want about the book or even your favorite movie version.

• Handwritten or typed is fine.

• If this sounds like something you would like to do then join. :0)

I will angel if there are flakers.

No recent ones or threes! Rating of 4.8 or above.

You can start reading as soon as you join.

Lol, why do you need a rating to read pride and prejudice? I am new to this site and this classic book is one of my favourites. If you have not read it before, please be prepared for archaic phraseology! It is NOTHING like the cutesy movies. It is not modern what so ever. The ending is not the same as the films! So disappointment may abound. In saying that, it IS a brilliant look at family life in the early 1800s, in middle to upper class England. The characters are powerful, and Jane Austin has a genuine tap on the social etticates and expectancies of Class distinction, and the resultant constraints forced upon One in the event of misfortune. She reads people brilliantly! As I am not rated, per se, I don't suppose I am allowed to join your group. I would relish re reading and writing To another about the chapters. Regards Jane
