Description:

Are you someone who is short and to the point? Then this swap is for you! Below is a questionnaire of sorts containing 50 questions that need answers! Here is the catch; you can only answer each inquiry with 1 word. It might be tougher than you think. Do you think you can do it?!

For this swap you will have 4 partners. Please copy and paste the questions below into a new email and answer each question using only 1 word! Send this email to each of your 4 partners. If you decide to include all your partners in one email, please use BCC (Blind Carbon Copy).

Since this is an electronic swap it should be a quick swap to complete! Newbies welcome! Please no flakers, but I will angel if needed.

Some of these questions would be very, very hard to answer with just one word, such as #28 as a quicke example.

aonbelay 03/16/2013 #

Exactly. That's the challenge!

alycat0810 03/16/2013 #

Is this to be answered through personal email or through the messaging system on swapbot?

pahasiga 03/17/2013 #

@Alycat0810 , please read the swap description (that clearly says "email"; it also mentions BCC, a function that messaging system on swap-bot doesn't have).

alycat0810 03/18/2013 #

sorry I haven't used the messaging system on here I've only had this acct. a couple days

aurelas 03/18/2013 #

can proper names (such as for our hero) be more than one word? I'm not sure I can answer that one in such a way as would make any sense in one word if a first and last name count as two.

aonbelay 03/18/2013 #

Aurelas: the goal is to find a creative way to convey your answers using only a single word. Proper names & titles, such as using a last name only, are great options! Hyphenated words are also a clever usage.

Ambelleina 03/18/2013 #

I'm a newbie and this looks fun! Signed up and already filling out. :)

aonbelay 03/19/2013 #

Wooohooooo!!!! Number 1 swap!!!

KraftyKaren 03/19/2013 #

Just curiously, is swap-bot one word?

papercaper 03/20/2013 #
  1. I hate electronic mail swaps and opt almost never to do them. (For one thing people rarely seem to give hearts when they rate you!)

  2. I love this electronic mail swap and have opted to do it.

  3. @KraftyKaren a hyphenated word is one word. @aonbelay even said above, "Hyphenated words are also a clever usage." Mind you, you could abuse the whole point of the thing if all your answers were all just hyphenated strings of words. :P

fawnscrafts 03/20/2013 #

I would join, but to be honest, there are two questions I cannot get to one word answers. It takes the minimum of two words. Bummer for me. And there is no way to hyphen those words LOL

LovelyLici 03/20/2013 #

Oh, how fun! I tend to go on and on with my answer to certain types of questions, even where just one or two words will do. This will be a good self-editing exercise for me. Thanks for hosting this swap! I love finding swaps that are different and present a little challenge. :)

tamtamlee 03/21/2013 #

For some reason I can't get into my e-mail. Could I send mine through a message on swap bot and recieve mine through a message.

aonbelay 03/21/2013 #

tamtamlee--I don't see that as being a problem. As long as your partners receive their swap. You will need to then contact each of your four partners with your swap.

tamtamlee 03/21/2013 #

Okay! Thank you! I'm still tring to get in my e-mail...They keep saying everything is wrong.

PrairieKittin 03/22/2013 #

That was fun. There were a couple I had to get creative, but I think I got my point across. LOL!!!!! Can't wait to send it!

ladydy5 03/22/2013 #

I was able to answer all with one word, amazing

fruitbat5150 03/23/2013 #

@aonbelay I hope you'll be doing another one of these eventually, this was a lot of fun and a real challenge!

efjellro 03/23/2013 #

Sent! :) Thanks for hosting this, it was a challenge for me as I'm a girl of many words usually :P
