It's time to disperse some of those zines you have that just don't fit your long term collection. In this swap you will send at least 5 zines to one partner. Zines should be intact (good binding, no ripped or missing pages). Any size and type of zines can be sent. This is an international swap.

Do you think you could explain a zine to me in simple terms. Every website I look at to understand what they are just has too much information for me to sort through. I feel silly not knowing what they are.

Zines are independently published works. They cover all sorts of topics. Some are put out by one person. Others are compilations. Some are very personal, while others are more about issues.

You may have seen zines from the punk rock scene around town or in record stores, but there are lots of other subjects as well. If you want, email me, and I will send you a few. I have a ton of extras right now.

What Do Ya Mean 'What's a Zine'? (I think that's the correct title) is a good book if you want to learn more about Zines.
