Description:

First of all, this will be a pretty time intensive and thought provoking swap. Please do not join if you do not have the time/interest in sending! Because it is time consuming I am giving month from sign up to send it.

I done a swap like this once upon a time when I first joined swap-bot and really enjoyed putting it together and seeing what I got in return!

Instructions are as follows:: Send your partner one thing that starts with each letter of the alphabet. For more difficult letters (like x, z, q, etc) send something that at least has that letter in the name of what you are sending. Use your imagination and make it fun!

I am not allowing fresh outta the box newbies to join as I haven't had the best of luck lately with a few of the newbies. I am requiring a 4.95 rating with no 3's or 1's in the last year. If you feel your situation warrants review, please contact me - I am not a difficult person to work with! I am requesting that you have at least 5 swaps completed with positive ratings and at least 2 of those being Type 2 or 3 swaps.

Is there a price min or max for this? I'd just be worried about getting really nice stuff for my partner and then just getting back something like stickers.

I'm watching for now. This sounds like a good swap but only 2 type 3s requirement is kinda low for cost.

I didn't set a price on it -- simply because at even $1 each it would be a $26 value package. And yes, I am setting the swap requirement low. I am always willing to angel in the case of someone getting flaked on or just plain out cheated. I am not asking you to spend a whole LOT of money, it is senders choice. This is supposed to be fun a fun challenge to put together.

Should these be new or used items?

NurseJana 03/ 2/2013 #

Used items are okay - as long as it is in good condition and usable. Don't send junk... send only what you would like to receive!! If you wouldn't be happy to get it, don't send it.

I have a question...This is my first type 3 swap and I've almost finished purchasing everything to send. Is it cheaper to use a flat rate postal box to mail out my package or is it less expensive to just use a box on hand and mail it by weight? My package is already to big to stuff it in one of the small flat rate boxes..Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Either way is good. It's really according to the weight of the package. It is all according to how you want to work it with the post office. I like to use the flat rate because it is much easier to print a label from home and schedule the pickup so that I don't have to go to the post office. Other times I like to send my stuff in irregular packaging and have to post office for it. Cost is the biggest factor though. The USPS has a postage calculator if you know the approx weight and you could weigh the cost factor there.
