Description:

This is swap for those who like to collect postcards with the State bird on the card. Arizona's state bird is the cactus wren.

This swap is for store bought, or vintage store bought postcards. Nothing homemade, and not created by a place like zazzle. This is a more of a touristy postcard swap.

You will have 2 partners and send each partner 1 postcard naked, stamped with a postage stamp of your choice, AND you must hand write your message. You may print off your address area if you find that easier, but your message area must be hand written. Please do not print out something on the computer, and glue this on to the message area. You may add stickers or other items, some people take the time to use a rubber stamp on their pcs. how nice.

On to the technical jargon

How are we mailing them ? Naked and stamped and not in an envelope.

A stamp is a stamp, if the USPS sells it or accepts it as postage then it is acceptable as postage. I am sure most prefer real postage stamps, but I wanted to make it clear that a stamp is a stamp.

Postage now cost 33 cents, and 46 cents if the postcard is bigger than 4x6 inches.

Please dont rate on whether or not you like your postcard or your stamp but on whether or not you got a postcard with a state bird on it.

The state bird can be large or part of multi view. It can be a photo of a bird, or the postcards with the birds drawn or painted by the postcard manufacturer. The bird must be on the front part of the postcard not on the back.

You do need to put your name, your swap-bot nickname and the swap name on the postcard in order for the recipient to rate you properly.

If you have even been late in one of my swaps please dont join. IF you have had a 1 or 3 In NOV or DEC of 2012 or Jan 2013, please dont join. I will ban all questionable swappers. I will angel for flakers after you have contacted them twice, and rated them a 1.

Newbies are welcomed to join, if they have a filled out profile that lists their height weight, shoe size, blood type and nearest relative's contact information. Or just have a some info about your postcard likes and dislikes, etc. I repeat, I will ban all questionable swappers.

Keep in mind, that I will be assigning partners after 10pm my time in Arizona. That is midnight Eastern time. That is the earliest I am allowed to push the assign button. I tend to assign right away cause I have already spent time looking at profiles of those with lower ratings etc.

I dont own this image.

I keep joining the 50 state Map PC swaps but I am not getting the map postcards that I need to fill in the gaps.

For that reason. I made a group found here http://www.swap-bot.com/group/3f62682e40aa5c67ac1f1803342e2b19/about

@AZmom875 You don't want to see the Illinois state bird! It's frequently sighted on the highways and in rush hour! ^.^'

I spotted that same bird in Texas last week. :)
