A&B: Matchbox Keepsake box

Hi lovelies,

I saw this amazing tutorial online and was blown away :) I also immediately knew I wanted to do a swap with it.

For this swap we are kicking up the usual matchbox swap to be a teeny weeny keepsake box instead. The artist used poems and literature as inspiration. You can use whatever - include a note to your partner explaining why the titbits were included.

• Alter a standard 32c matchbox. Make your own or use an existing one. Do not use the bigger matchbox size - the point is to go small and the challenges involved in that.
• Decorate up the drawer, inside and outside of the matchbox. Make this a real little treasure to brag with.
• Make sure the drawer pulls out comfortably. Make the compartments secure and make sure the bits and pieces fit well within them. A minimum of 3 compartments.
• Remember that note to explain the keepsakes.
• There's a month to do this swap, so take your time. Your best work please.
• The tutorial is a guide only. You can either use all her methods or your own way. Just make sure the end project is amazing. If you have tips, please share.

The usual swap fineprint applies:

• no recent / unexplained 1's or 3's (within 6 months).
• 4.95+ to participate
• Put effort into this one - you're Above and Beyond and so is she. Respect that. Newbies to altered art are welcome, as long as you are really putting effort in. Be fair in rating.
• Sender's choice.
• I'll boot where I feel uncomfortable.
• Package it for safe international travel. This keepsake is going places :)
• I'll angel, but flake at your own risk. The wrath will be epic and memorable. Please don't make me fetch the dragons.
