La Ofrenda Miniature

First in a series for miniature enthusiasts!

I have received some beautiful calacas in our group swaps, and want to create a dollhouse for them...eventually. In the meantime, let's create an mini ofrenda. Ofrendas are set up to remember and honor the memory of our departed loved ones.

FUN STUFF: You can create an ofrenda from a large matchbox, alter a piece of dollhouse furniture, or try a small wooden box. (I found wooden dollhouse furniture at the $1 store!!) Decorate in the DOD theme...sugar skulls, flowers, candles, papel picados, pictures, mini food...etc. This is sender's choice to one partner, so you can start crafting now)

NO SO FUN STUFF: Create a miniature ofrenda worthy of your ancestors. Do your best work, send on time and rate fairly. If you're into scale miniatures, this may not be the swap for you as there is no specific scale to be used...just think dollhouse miniatures.
