I can't join this swap because I don't have any friends IRL, so I won't be getting any Christmas cards to recycle.

Can I send a blank piece of paper with a festive stamp stuck to the corner? =D

Yeah. Some of the pictures look like gift tags or similar embellishments, too. Can we use wrapping paper and gift tags in the collage?

Hello...I just realized here in the states 21 January will be a federal holiday and the post offices will be closed. (Martin Luther King Day).

Take some of this year's (or last year's) Christmas cards, tags, wrapping paper, ribbon, etc. and make a collage PC.

Send by date was also changed to Sunday, January 20.

My birthday is Saturday. I'm sure they'll close the post office for that, too! I'll try to make it to the mailbox before that three-day weekend of raucous celebrating begins! :-)

Oh my...I really really really don't want to post this (and of course mine will be sent way early), but the PO will be closed on 20 January as well...cause it is a Sunday. :(

The "real" POs are closed Sundays but not the franchise ones....

The "franchise" POs are the ones run by other businesses, not the Federal Government. For example, in Florida, the hardware store in my town runs a private PO, and they are open 7 days a week.

oh i have that too here, in kiosks and 24/7 stores where you buy alc and cigs in the night! but i dont trust them with my mail^^ i only buy stamps there.

I had no idea. I will have to look those places up and see if any are close by. Thanks
