I don't understand what you mean by non-collaged but textured?

I am also confused, could you describe it a little more please? Not sure how to get different layers without collage?

By non-collaged, I mean anything but a collaged style inchie. This is not an inchie made by collaged images.

By textured elements, I mean use elements that provide texture, such as thick layers of paints, or beads, string, or sand, or glitter, or buttons, or ribbons, or cord or jewels other textured elements.

In mine, I am using glass beads, acrylic paints, buttons and modge podge to create my textured inchies. I hope this is helpful.

In others, I am using plastic beads, paints, ribbons and modge podge.

Take a look at the "Bright and Colorful Inchies" in my Flickr photo stream-this may make it more clear.

I posted the photo above.

Plus keep in mind, I always state in my swaps "The interpretation of the theme is up to the artist". I want the swap participants to come up with their own idea of "textured elements", so you don't have to do what I have done-they are just examples. :) Hope you will join!!
