Paper Bag Swap

I sent back to my partner today -- any ideas as to how we are going to rate each other? This was a really fun swap! I loved trying to figure out how to use the fabric and embellishments!

Rate according to if you got something really nice and feel if it deserves a star. It will be rated the standard swap-bot way. I have to rate accordingly because the one who was to send to me never sent anything. She will be rated a 1.

Shouldn't we be rating the person who made something from the material we sent them?

I have just been rated a "1" because of the confusion. I have contacted site administration, as feel that kmcscott should be rating me, and I should be rating catchahug, not catchahug rating me and me rating kmcscott. The initial problem with assigning ratings that I pointed out to jzzyblu was never corrected, and so we are all rating the wrong people.

Oh it a terrible mistake I I don't know were my fabric went and what thats person made me I sent my package a purse to bjane but it was suppose to go to another one that I rated. A 1 sorry sure hope I don't get a 1 I did everything I was suppose to do what should we do guess host bad rate or computer

Let's see ...here's what I know.

jzzyblu sent fabric to kmcscott, who made her something and sent it back.

kmcscott sent fabric to rngstgstll (me) and I made something and sent it back to her.

rngstgstll sent fabric to catchahug, who made something and sent it to bjane.

catchahug sent fabric to bjane and hasn't received anything back yet.

jzzyblu never received fabric.

There were 5 of us. Could it be that jzzyblu never received fabric from bjane?

So, to correct this situation we need to see if admin (Rachel and Travis) can fix the ratings mechanism for this swap. If that is not possible, maybe we coulld unrate each other and count what we received as RAK (random acts of kindness) by leaving a comment on the profile page of the person that we received from??

Catchahug was confused by the way the swap partner assignment was set up -- I see no reason to rate her a "1". I'd be happy to angel her if her partner is unable to send her something. Catcha hug, have you contacted bjane?

As I think back on the information that I know about this swap, I recall an email that was sent by jzzyblu not to send out our fabric because of the rating confusion.

Is it possible that this is why you never received fabric, jzzyblu?

Maybe we should look into this aspect of the exchange.

I PM bjane to tell her to send her fabric to me so that I would make for her. She had another email from me again explaining to send me her fabric andshe never send anything.

I am in the process of making something for catchahug to send out next week. I also rated bjane as a 1 for not sending out and not responding to me either.

Well it doesn't look like any corrections have been made for us to rate for the Paper Bag Swap. So I will have to rate rngstgstll here and in the comment section of her profile page. It's sad that we spent so much time on this swap and it doesn't count towards our rating. Rngstgstll deserves a heart for her beautiful work, actually she deserves several hearts. I really, really loved everything that she made for me. She made some flower pins that are just too cute. She also made a scarf with a secret pocket that is simply gorgeous. You can tell that she put a great deal of thought in to personalizing the scarf especially for me. Again, thank you, thank you, thank you!

I was wondering who receive the bag I made and I just received the book holder that jzzyblu angel me very pretty you did lots of work thanks a millon haven't been rate yet. Will what a terrible confusion hope you allow had great Christmas and new. Year God bless cindy
