Description:
You've heard of sticker bags and label bags, let's try ATC bags! If you already have an established one to pass along from the first swap, that's great! If not, here's how to start one: Take a small envie and write your name and address on one side of it. On the other side, write instructions such as "take out two ATCs and add three". Have numbered lines for persons who have participated to sign on. Indicate that the last person to sign should send it home. You can include any other instructions, such as whether or not the ATCs should be made by the swapper or if you accept pass alongs. Put your three (or however many you indicated) ATCs inside the envie. This is your ATC bag. Put the ATC bag (envie) inside another envie to mail to your swap partner. Any questions? I've done this type of bag before, it's usual to start the bag with , more ATCs than the removal number, e.g. if you want the first signer to select 2, you might put 4 or 5 in. This is so there is a selection for them to choose from. It is also normal to offer a variety of styles and themes for the same reason.

I know that's all commonsense, just thought I'd mention it.

I've never done a swap of this type with stickers or labels, so I'm unfamiliar with the whole concept. As such, I've a couple questions. Do you pass the envie around in the same swap? How do the lines get filled? Do you end up with more ATCs at the end than you put in the envie initially? How many persons should be on the sign-up participation list?

For this swap, you just send to one partner. When I host another swap, you can send it to a new partner. Or, if you do other types of bag swaps, you can pass it along that way. Or, you can just tuck it in as an extra with an ATC swap. If you start the swap with three ATCs, pass it to five people and ask that they take 2 and add three, you should end up with five additional ATCs at the end.

If you are sending a bag you received in Swap 1 or 2, make sure that your recipient hasn't already signed the bag!

@Wenturner71 Does your partner send it back to you or do you hang on to the one you receive and send it to someone in another swap? I'm sorry to sound so dumb on this, I'm having a tough time with the whole thing for some reason!?
