Harry Potter Mini Whimsey Jar

For this swap you will decorate and fill 1 small whimsey jar for 1 partner.

This will be US only due to shipping rates. For sending these a small box or bubble wrap envie will do. While shipping rates differ based on weight and speed my last one was a bit less than $4 for first class shipping with tracking to give you an idea of the shipping cost.

By small jar I am imagining a 4 oz jar which is a stage 2 baby food jar or one like this http://www.amazon.com/Ball-Quilted-Jelly-Canning-Case/dp/B000VTSYA8 - you’ll be amazed how much it holds! Feel free to use any jar you like around this size or larger or add larger items to the package if they don’t fit into the jar if you’re feeling extra generous!

You will have 2 weeks after assigning partners to decorate using paper, stickers, paint, ribbon, buttons, tissue paper, etc. then fill it with witch and wizard supplies!

You will be filling you jar based on the colors of your partner’s House selection along with some handmade/scavenger hunt mandatory items!

Be sure to include:

-Some type of wand (could be a polymer charm, a wooden miniature, a metal ornament, etc)

-The pet your partner has chosen (could be a stuffie, amigurumi, resin figure, keychain, etc)

-A Magical Accessory (could be house color friendship bracelet, polymer clay Radish earrings, a handmade Horcrux necklace, a Time Turner keychain, a handmade resin Death Eater ring, etc)

Other items you put in the jar could include things in your partner’s House Colors or things related to Harry Potter (these can be bought or made):

Stickers

Beads

Embroidery Floss

Glitter

Crystal Balls, Runes

Snakes, Spiders

Quidditch, Snitch

Magical Creature Related Items (Dobby, Fawkes, Nagini, Werewolves, Unicorns, etc)
