I am new to swapping here and i have signed up for a few, so this may sound like a stupid question, but does international mean not the USA? Or just all over??? I am an Aires and would like this one.

Swap-bot just added a new feature to where the swap host has 3 days to look over the swap list and ban people if needed then they have to push a little button to assign partners. However, after the 3 days it will auto assign if the host doesn't do it (or doesn't know). If I seem to be talking in circles (so tired...) go check it out on the main blog here.

Hi there - not happy about this as there is a really low rated swapper listed in this and if the swap organiser doesn't assign and the site does it then this swapper will be in and I really hope I don't get her assigned to me. If I'd known that was going to happen I'd have pulled out.....I've contacted the swap host but no response so far

I think that being the swap host just moved and had some life changes and she doesn't have internet like she did before, this is going to be auto assigned... I do know that that swapper with the low rating doesn't rate her partners so I would suggest that if you get her name you by-pass her and ask the host for her partners instead. At least that is what I have been doing.

I was thinking about doing that actually - so whoever gets her name could do that. I will try contacting the host to ask if she could check who is assigned to her anyway

I'm now getting a very bad feeling about this swap - is anyone else? If you check the co-ordinators feedback rating it ranges from 5 to 1 with nothing in between...there are some really bad feedbacks and, which is more worrying, these are all on swaps SHE has hosted herself....I have had no response from her when I tried to contact. Giving benefit of the doubt at the moment but being naturally cynical.....

I wouldn't worry about the host. she is a pen-pal of mine and just sent me a letter last week. Things have been busy for her and she is trying to catch up. I have gotten swaps from her in the past so I think as soon as things slow down a bit it will be better. I don't think she has the internet yet either so that has to be hard to manage everything as well.

I have been looking on swap-bot and I don't believe that swap hosts are able to see who sends to who and therefore it will not be possible to miss non-senders out of the loop as nobody will know who they would be sending to - unless we all post a message here saying who we are sending to and see who doesn't post.....if I do not receive anything because the person sending to me could have been banned then I will not be happy....if you set up a swap and take on the responsibility of hosting it then you should ensure that you are able to fulfill that responsibility

nope, the swap host is able to see who is partnered up with whom. Only the host can do that of course, so you would have to contact her.

I do understand what you are saying and why you are frustrated... it worries me as well that we are the only 2 saying anything. Maybe if we are lucky we will get eachother as a partner :)

yeah - here's hoping. I was a bit confused about the host being able to see who was partnered with whom as I thought they could but the host on another swap I'm doing says she can't?

strange. all she/he has to do is go to the "big list" and it says view partners right beside the names. it will then list "send to" and "receive from"

Hi, if anyone other than myself and fairykiss is reading this - can whoever has Marina Machet as their swap partner contacts the swap host. This swapper is obviously in swaps to get something for nothing and I think it's important that they be cut out of the loop. Rather than sending more goodies to someone who has no intention of reciprocating the person who has them could send direct to whoever Marina should be sending to. Catch you all later

Question: When I click on "Rate the Swap Partner Who Sent You Stuff", the host's name comes up. I assumed that I was paired with the person I was sending to - in this case, Pink Ribbon. I should be receiving from the host, correct?
