Description:

I tried to lure all of you with the title. Did I succeed? Remember the Barbie Doll crocheted covers at your grandmother's? This is NOT that swap...

Use the bottom portion of a 2 liter soda or water bottle to create a cover for that extra roll of TP. You can decorate the ****outside**** like a cozy, or try adhering some interesting elements that you have in your stash...Or on the ****inside****.... I was thinking like reverse painting technique, or a faux decoupage on glass technique using paper napkins. Also, you can add a finial to the top, or other handle.

Use some out of the box thinking. If you crochet, of course you can try your hand at some new way of covering the bottle.

Make it distinctive and different, something that you love to send. Please be aware of your partners preferences of color or theme, but it is ok to use creative license.

So each of us can post 3 preferences below for inspiration only.

One TP cover, ONE PARTNER. International swap, please note. Please do not join if you are having any problems meeting normal swapping requirements, thank you.

C'mon let's play corny or not!

Does the bottom of a 2-liter soda bottle fit the standard toilet paper roll? Do we have to use a soda bottle for this cover or can we use something else? I want to make sure first!

You may use an alternate cover if you wish, I went and tested a roll of Scott's tissue and it is too large, but I would, for myself, partially use a roll and then store it in said swapped item.

BYW don't forget to put your 3 preferences on this board. I will make sure that all swappers take care of this detail.

OK here are my bathrooms, I have a black & gold powder room, a red, white & blue upstairs bath, a "fishing/nature" bathroom downstairs in the cellar/rec room (off the pool& garden). My bath is white & light green with some pastel tulps. I know thats 4 not three, but it gives you more choices.

my bathroom is aqua, white and black. I have tropical fish painted on the wall. I also like mermaids and shells.

this sounds too fun! I have a nautical sailor theme - mostly vintage look...(really I hate dusting so I call it vintage-lol) anything in navy/white- shell ..collection of wooden sailors-etc...

Oh - I'd like to request - if it's not too much trouble - to have my cover oriented horizontally. I have a rack that holds multiple rolls but all horizontally (like when it's on the holder).
