This is a swap for 4 sets of seeds. You will have one partner that you will send to . You must find out the growing zone for their particular area of the US- for example Maine is 5. You can find out your partners zone from the link below: http://www.arborday.org/treeinfo/zonelookup.cfm Read profiles, a lot of people list their favorite flowers...along with colors and scents- or allergies. Since you have only one , your partner will be able to get a nice start on their early spring planting- indoors or out. This will be fun and I need to look forward to spring- Its cold in Maine!! Ratings of 5.0 or higher please. ONLY USA addresses only !!!

I love flowers that I can cut and use in arrangements. I also love sunflowers and anything that is easy to grow.

actually it is illigal to import seeds from foreign countries into the United States. You need a phytosanitary certificate from the country of origin to legally bring them in. so don't do it! not through the mail or in your baggage when you travel. you can be fined up to $300 for doing so. i don't think it's worth taking the risk!

I noticed that the zone hardiness is printed on the backs of some seed packets. They tell you when to plant for which zone. I checked because I live in Louisiana and I was wondering where to buy seeds in case I got someone from the far north. (I didn't know if I was going to have to buy from a catalog if that occurred.)

Big problem here in my area. There are no seeds out yet at any of the stores I've been in. I'm hoping they'll be in in the next week or so! Can we send packages of bulbs?

If you don't mind ordering over the internet, Park Seeds has great prices and good customer service too. They ship pretty fast considering.
