Jumpstart Your Art Swap

Ever have one of those days when you walk into your studio or crafting space--which is probably loaded with supplies--and still you just feel kind of "eh" about getting started? Maybe you just need a jumpstart--and maybe there are swapping buddies out there who need the same from you. For this international swap, you will have three partners. Your mission--should you decide to accept it--is to take a look at your swap partners' profiles and see what kind of arts and crafts they're into. Then make up a small ($2 to $5 value) packet of miscellaneous inspirational goodies to help them "see" their chosen medium a new way. It could include some ephemera, swatches of colored paper, a few interesting beads, feathers, bits of fabric, an old photograph, a small container of paint or a paint pen, a rubber stamp, an empty journal, buttons--whatever. Use your imagination and come up with some interesting surprises. Keep it light and manageable for international mailing. Later on, we'll touch base with all the participants and ask for volunteers to post photos of what they made with their inspirational packets. Sound like fun? Sign up!
