The wonderful @FarStarr has given me her permission to copy and paste her swap word-for-word for use in the Paper Cutz group so that's pretty much what I have done.... For this swap, we will use multiple layers to make unique backgrounds. Step 1: Procure either a large cereal box (seperated into 2 pieces-front and back) or 2 pieces of similar weight cardboard at least 8 1/2 by 11". Step 2: Use your favorite glue to apply a layer of ripped or cut papers to both of your pieces of cardboard. Use a brayer or the palm of your hand to make sure the paper is stuck really well. Let it dry completely. Step 3: Use at least 3 more techniques from the choices below...feel free to use more...feel free to use different techniques too... to create fabulously layered backgrounds! ââ¬Â¢Add paint or ink using an unconventional household item as a stamp. (potato masher, brussel sprout, flip-flop) Step 4: Cut each of your pieces of cardboard in half Step 5: Send one half of each background to each of TWO partners. Each partner will get two different halves from you Your partners can now use these pieces as they wish - inchies, twinchies, bookmarks, ATCs, postcards, skinnies, rolo cards, etc. Feel free to ask any questions below...Have Fun! |
