Response: Very interesting that you used to live in Branson. I've heard beautiful things about Montana. My family is looking to get land in this area, Missouri or Arkansas. I would love nothing more than to have land with my loved ones and grow our food, raise animals, and build homes from cob. I want to start a commune and invite everyone I know! Today I canned squash relish and rendered lard with the help of my boyfriend. It was very fulfilling! Then I took a bath. :) Very cool that your grandson is learning to hunt. My boyfriend really wants to learn. We have slaughtered and butchered a chicken and we're about to leave for a farm to help them out in exchange for half their hog who we will help slaughter and process. Exciting! I start a bunch of things and have them all going at the same time because I supposed I get bored of just focusing on one thing. Sometimes I don't finish everything I start, but I feel like that's totally okay. I finish what needs to be finished and go with the flow. :)
